Other information about yourself, comments:
I think working as a flight-attendant is the perfect fit for me. Ever since I could remember, I have been fascinated by everything foreign and international. I love people, geography and languages, and I know for sure that I want to work in an environment that combines these. I started my bachelors degree in International relations to become an embassy worker in the future, but after the first semester I have serious reconsiderations about continuing this path because the studies are honestly too hard and requires me to be a better student than I am. What I originally wanted was an international job where I can interact with people and travel or move around the globe.
Many people have suggested me to become a flight attendant in the past, but I never gave it serious thought because I was too stuck up on my past direction and I thought I didn’t like flying. But, after several short and long-distance flights I started to become more interested in aviation and curious about the careers within it. Now I don't find it especially uncomfortable to fly anymore, and I do so frequently.
I understand the job isn't just glamorous traveling all the time, but one of the main things that pulls me towards this career is of course the travel opportunities. Traveling is a privilege I love and appreciate deeply. I love traveling both alone and with company, and for shorter or longer stays. When I studied in Australia I had long layovers on the way, and discovered the awesomeness of fast pace travel and airport hotels as well.
Another intriguing aspect of this career is most importantly providing good customer service. I love interacting with different people from all backgrounds, and being helpful to people brings me real joy. I don't have specific job experience in customer service except standing in boots in middle school and helping children out at equestrian centres, but from those I remember that I have no problem approaching people or staying polite and friendly to them.
Connecting with other people gives me happiness and energy, and I know for a fact that I will enjoy customer service jobs.
I am flexible with time schedules and am never too stuck in my routines as they change all the time already. I don't get tired easily and am not depended on sleep to function (within reason of course). It is very easy for me to adapt and compromise in order to reach agreements, which I consider one of my strongest sides.
In stressful situations I am rarely the one to panic, and I prefer working under stressful situations or time-restraints as opposed to slow paced detail oriented tasks.
As of now I have nothing keeping me down to a specific place so relocating is not a problem for me.
For many of the same reasons, I am also interested in working at airports representing the airline as a gate agent and similar.
